Solanum americanuum
Family: Solanaceae (nightshade)

POISONOUS - foliage and fruit. The green berries contain solanine and can be fatal if eaten in sufficient quantities. Some sources state that the fully ripe berry which is shiny black is edible, but most sources recommend avoiding ingesting the berries at all.

I just found your beautiful blog, and enjoyed it. I blog from the opposite corner of the USA so it is fun to see what is happening in your part of the world. I don't blog all nature, but I'm doing it more and more all the time.
